A demonstration in Dublin is expected to bring traffic to a standstill in the city centre this afternoon, in protest at the rising cost of car insurance premiums.
Around 6,000 cars are expected to take part in a protest around Leinster House and Merrion Square from 12 noon today.

Car insurance premiums have increased by up to 60% for some drivers over the past three years.
Opposition TDs are due to address the rally.
